Sunday, August 22, 2010 By Isaac Kuhlman After this weekend's Strikeforce: Houston card, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker must be thinking to himself, "Son-of-a-biscuit." His two big names on the card "King Mo" Lawal and Bobby Lashley got beat up and knocked out by fighters who were heavy underdogs by most accounts. Take this into the combination with Jake Shields beating Dan Henderson then leaving for the UFC (or as Strikeforce says, "was released by Strikeforce") and Gegard Mousasi and Fedor Emelianenko both recently losing, and you have a big marketing nightmare at the top of the ladder in Strikeforce. |
