Which sport(s) do you play? Softball What school do you attend? Shadow Ridge HS How long have you competed and what motivated you to get involved in your sport? I have played since I was 5. My dad played softball and I always loved being at the field. What do you like most about your sport? I like being part of a sport that needs more than one person to succeed. I love knowing that my teammates are behind me. What is your favorite sport to watch on TV and why? Baseball, because I actually know what is going on! Who is your favorite athlete or person you draw inspiration from? Cat Osterman because she is my favorite Olympic pitcher. She plays with heart and intensity, which makes her great. Do you think that being an athlete helps or hinders you with your academic studies? Yes it helps. In order to play softball I have to keep good grades. What is the biggest challenge for a student/athlete? Finding time to get schoolwork done and play the game. Do you plan on pursuing your sport at the college level? Yes I do. Getting money to go to college and to play the sport I love has been one of my goals for a long time. Please list any accomplishments you are proud of achieving in your sport: Last year I was Pitcher of the Year, made First Team All State, and my team won Regionals for the first time ever. **Fun Questions** Do you have a favorite saying? “Nothing is fair in life except for a ball hit between first and third.”
