Which sport(s) do you play? Baseball What school do you attend? Las Vegas High School How long have you competed and what motivated you to get involved in your sport? I’ve played since I was 3. My older brother played catcher so he needed someone to throw the ball. What do you like most about your sport? You have to rely on all your teammates. There is no real passion for winning the game unless you have everyone in it. What is your favorite sport to watch on TV and why? Ice Hockey because of the intensity and it never slows down. Who is your favorite athlete or person you draw inspiration from? Mike Schmidt because of the way he played with a lot of heart. I just loved to watch that. Do you think that being an athlete helps or hinders you with your academic studies? It helps because you must have good grades to be out here. What is the biggest challenge for a student/athlete? There just isn’t anytime outside of baseball and school. There is no time for friends and that is hard. Do you plan on pursuing your sport at the college level? Yes, I like the University of Arizona or really anywhere that is willing to pay for my school.
