Sam Querrey capped off a fabulous week of tennis with his first ATP title. The American took care of South African Kevin Anderson in three hard fought sets: 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the Tennis Channel Open final. The two first time finalists put on a fine show to closeout the 2008 tournament. Sam spent several years training in Vegas and now resides back in his hometown of Thousand Oaks, CA. The French doubles team of Julien Benneteau and Michael Llodra ended the three year reign of Bob and Mike Bryan 6-4, 4-6, 10-8. Benneteau and Llodra finished off a fine week with an ace to take the crown. Camille Pin of France won the Hilton Cup on Sunday by defeating promising young star Asia Muhammed of Las Vegas 6-4, 6-1. Women’s doubles went to the pair of Melinda Czink & Renata Voracova 6-3, 6-2.
