Participants will learn teamwork and good sportsmanship while gaining self-confidence and improving their batting, fielding, catching, throwing, and base-running skills. The weekly games and instruction will continue for six weeks. League participation at Gibson Community School costs $45 for ages 3 to 6 and $55 for ages 7 and 8, and includes a hat, T-shirt, participation award, instruction and weekly game. Equipment will be provided, except for gloves. Volunteer coaches are needed. Prices for T-ball instruction at Doolittle Community Center and Johnson Community School vary with age, day and time of class. Please call for details.

Coach pitch (ages 7 to 8) is available only at Gibson Community School. Younger children hit the ball from a tee. Biddy tot (ages 3 to 4) and Biddy (ages 5 to 6) divisions are offered at all locations. Registration is open until divisions are full. Practice and play begins Saturday, Jan. 19, at Gibson. Instruction begins the week of Jan. 7 at other locations. Additional centers will offer T-ball play beginning in March, with registration opening Jan. 2.
