August 14, 2007 The city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services invites boys and girls ages 4 to 8 to register now to participate in T-ball this fall.
Participants will learn teamwork and good sportsmanship while gaining self-confidence and improving their batting, fielding, catching, throwing, and base-running skills. The weekly leagues will continue for six weeks. The cost is $45 and includes a T-shirt, participation award, instruction and weekly game. Equipment will be provided. Volunteer coaches are needed. Biddy division (ages 4 to 6) is offered at all locations. Registration is open until divisions are full. Practice and play begins Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Lied; Saturday, Oct. 6, at Rivera and Robison; Saturday, Oct. 20, at Veterans Memorial; and Saturday, Nov. 3, at Brinley.
