UNLV sophomore wide receiver Ryan Wolfe will head into the league's annual media days gathering later this month as a unanimous choice for preseason first team All-Mountain West Conference as three more squads were recently announced in preview publications.

Wolfe and junior defensive end Jeremy Geathers were both tabbed first team by Sporting News, CBS SportsLine and College Football News/Scout. Wolfe was also previously announced as part of the top teams for Athlon, Lindy's, Blue Ribbon, Street & Smith's and Phil Steele's. Geathers was on the first team of six publications while making the second team of two others.

Overall, 12 Rebels were named to various preseason All-MWC teams. Other players making at least one first team were senior place-kicker Sergio Aguayo, senior linebacker Beau Bell and senior defensive back Mil’Von James.

The official team, voted on by select members of the media from around the league, will be announced on Monday, July 22, as part of the conference’s annual gathering, which this year takes place in Las Vegas.
