The family event will begin at the pool with a 1.5 mile run through Veterans Memorial Park and conclude with a 300-meter course swim. All entrants will receive a goody bag, water and a participation ribbon. Participation in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Sharing that activity with others can add to happiness and good health. The entry fee is $15 per person in advance and $20 on event day.

Check-in for the Dash & Splash event will begin at 7:30 a.m. June 16 at Pavilion Center Pool, located at 101 South Pavilion Center Drive. The run will begin at 8 a.m. There are no age restrictions, but each participant must be able to swim 300 meters. Registration is available now by telephone, online and at any city of Las Vegas community recreation facility. Pavilion Center Pool opens for the season at noon Saturday, May 26.
