Friday, January 15, 2010 LAS VEGAS - Las Vegas Motor Speedway's 2010 NASCAR Weekend will kick off the Dirt Track on Thursday, Feb. 25, with a complete program of United States Auto Club (USAC) National Sprint Car and Midget racing on the one-half-mile clay oval.
On Friday, Feb. 26, the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series presents its thrilling brand of short-track action at 4 p.m.
Last year, Cole Whitt won the thrilling 30-lap USAC Sprint Car feature on NASCAR Weekend. The following night Donny Schatz of Fargo, N. Dakota, took the lead from Sammy Swindell on lap 15 and went on to score his sixth LVMS WoO feature, earning $10,000 while holding off Sammy Swindell and Craig Dollansky.
Fans attending the Shelby American NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event and Sam's Town 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at LVMS will want to pencil in the Dirt Track's events on their racing schedule for exciting evening entertainment.

2 p.m. - Mandatory wheel-packing for Sprint Cars and Midgets.
3 p.m. - Spectator gates open, Sprint Car hot laps (30 min.) and Midget hot
laps (30 min.).
4 p.m.
Sprint Car group qualifying.
Midget group qualifying.
Sprint Car C-Feature (if needed).
Midget C-Feature (if needed).
5:15-6:15 p.m. - Driver autograph session on Dirt Track midway.
7 p.m.
National anthem.
Sprint Car heat races.
Midget heat races.
8:15 p.m. - Sprint Car and Midget B-Features.
9:15 p.m. - Sprint Car and Midget A-Features.
Friday, Feb. 26 - World of Outlaws Sprint Cars 11 a.m. - Pit gates open, tech inspection begins.
6 p.m. - Spectator gates open.
6:30 p.m. - Hot laps.
7 p.m. - Qualifying, followed by support division.
8 p.m. - World of Outlaws heat races (4 heats, 12 laps each), followed by
support division.
9 p.m. - World of Outlaws Dash, World of Outlaws B-Feature, support-division
racing.
9: 45 p.m. - World of Outlaws A-Feature.
