Heinrich YMCA announces youth basketball academy |

May 7, 2007 The Bill & Lillie Heinrich YMCA, 4141 Meadows Lane, offers a basketball academy for youth ages 7-17. The program is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 until 6:30 p.m. The Heinrich YMCA basketball academy, which focuses on shooting, rebounding, defense, speed, agility, and strength training, is run by Coach Brian Sitter, who coordinates youth basketball leagues and tournaments through National Junior Basketball. Durango YMCA offers children’s yoga class |

May 7, 2007 The Durango Hills YMCA, 3521 N. Durango Drive, offers yoga class for children ages 4-10. The classes are held on Wednesdays from 5:30 until 6 p.m. Participants will learn from certified yoga instructors who make yoga fun and beneficial for children. The program is free for YMCA members and $3 per child for non-members. Parent participation is welcome, but not required. For more information or to register, call 839-4907. |
