Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas Offers Free Summer Basketball Camp

Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas is offering a free, 5 week basketball camp for youth aged 8 -14. Summer is an excellent time for kids to get active and have fun. With issues like childhood obesity on the rise, this free camp offers youth the opportunity to get exercise and learn fundamental basketball skills from qualified professionals. Three time AA State Champion Head Coach, Greg Goorjian, has recruited some of the finest players and coaches in Las Vegas to facilitate a variety of basic skill drills and instruction.

Youth Invited To Free Regional Open Track Meet on June 6

Hershey’s Track and Field Youth Program and the city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services invite Nevada boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 14 to participate in a free regional qualifying open track meet Wednesday, June 6, at the Western High School track, located at 4601 West Bonanza Road. Registration will be held on site from 5 to 5:45 p.m. on June 6, with the events to begin at 6 p.m.
