LAS VEGAS--UNLV junior second baseman Ashli Holland has been named the Mountain West Conference's Softball Player of the Week for the second time in her career. Holland, a two-time all-conference performer, has now earned the league's weekly honor for the first time on April 28, 2009.

LAS VEGAS--The UNLV men's golf team, which moved up a spot this week in the Golfstat rankings to No. 7 in the nation and stayed at No. 11 in Golfweek's poll, will travel to Tempe, Ariz., for the 38th annual ASU Thunderbird Invitational, which will be played at ASU's Karsten Golf Course (par 71, 7,057 yards) on Friday and Saturday, April 2 and 3.

LAS VEGAS--The UNLV volleyball program has scheduled six camps this summer dedicated to boys and girls ranging from elementary through high school students. The camps are specialized for either individual and/or team instruction. They are scheduled in a two-week time frame from July 19 through August 1, and focus on skill instruction, team drills and also allow for competitive play.

LAS VEGAS--For the first time in school history the UNLV football team will play 13 regular-season games, including a record nine vs. opponents coming off bowl trips, as the Mountain West Conference released its complete 2010 schedule Monday.
