2007 Big League Weekend was once again a huge success! The Seattle Mariners faced the Chicago Cubs in two Major League Baseball exhibition games on Friday and Saturday, March 30 and 31 at Cashman Field. The two-day event had a total of 23,220 fans that included two sellouts!

New Orleans VooDoo quarterback Andy Kelly threw for 269 yards and four touchdowns to lead the VooDoo to a 59-31 victory over the Las Vegas Gladiators on Sunday in Las Vegas. The win runs the VooDoo’s record to 2-1 and drops Las Vegas to 1-2. Kelly was named offensive player of the game for his efforts. |

Las Vegas Gladiators Head Coach Danton Barto announced todaythat the Gladiators have acquired defensive back Dahnel Singfield in a tradewith the New York Dragons in exchange for future considerations.Singfield (6"1, 190, Buffalo) played with the New York Dragons in 2006recording 63.5 tackles, seven interceptions for 132 yards and nine passbreakups. |
