A standing-room-only audience watched Dustin Ash of Las Vegas score his third Super Late Model victory of the 2007 season at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway tonight. Ash started the 75-lap holiday feature in third place at watched an almost unbelievable series of events unfold in front of him. Taylor Barton slips on oil and Kyle Busch has an engine blow. |

NASCAR Nextel Cup Series star and Las Vegas native Kyle Busch has scheduled a homecoming for next week and will compete in Tuesday’s Night of Fire at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Busch, who drives the No. 5 Kellogg’s Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, will compete in a Super Late Model. |

Gladiators Fall to Sabercats, 73-46 in Final Game of the 2007 Season |

The Las Vegas Gladiators finish the 2007 season 2-14 as the playoff bound San Jose Sabercats take the 73-46 victory over the Gladiators in front 5,027 fans at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. San Jose’s special teams and defensive units combined for five touchdowns, giving the Sabercats the edge in the win. |

Reggie Theus, former UNLV Runnin' Rebel, has been hired by the Sacramento Kings to become the team's 21st head coach. The announcement was made by Kings' President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie. The Kings are owned by the Maloof family, who also own the Palms Casino in Las Vegas. |
