(The following is an interview transcription with MMA Heavyweight Josh Barnett at the "World's Collide" MMA/Boxing Promotion in Primm, NV.)

Q: You are next in line for the WAMMA Title shot with Fedor. Is that fight still going to happen this year?

  Barnett: I don't know. Anything's possible. I'm just ready for whatever challenge comes to me. I don't focus on any one fighter because I'd be racking myself over something I have no control over.

Q: And if the fight changes, then it's been a waste of time.

  Barnett: I just want to be ready to beat any one in the world at any time. Maybe that's a little loftier, but I think it's what's necessary.

  Master Toddy's Muay Thai Academy will be hosting a night of Muay Thai kick boxing fights inside their gym on Saturday, April 18. The promotion is called "Rising Star 26" and will feature fighters such as Fanny Tomasino, Ricky Yan, Justin "Flatline" Gunter, and Jason Gutierrez just to name a few.

  The Orleans casino hosted the latest installment of Tuff-N-Uff's Rising Stars of MMA amateur fights. The fight card included 2 semi-final fights in both the 170lbs. Division and the 155lbs. Division. It also included the title fight for the 135lbs. Division between Jamie Hernandez and Junior Gomez in the main event of the night.
