UNLV Men's Soccer goes to a 2-2 Overtime Tie with Drake |

September 21, 2007 Junior forward Lamar Neagle scored twice in the final nine minutes of the second half to rally the UNLV men’s soccer team from a two-goal deficit and give the Rebels a 2-2 double-overtime tie with Drake in the second game of the UNLV Rebel Classic on Friday night from Peter Johann Field. The tie game, which was played in heavy rain and also experienced a 50-minute delay at halftime due to lighting, pushed the Rebels’ record to 2-3-2. Drake, ranked sixth in the NSCAA Midwest Region, dropped to 4-2-1. San Diego State won the first game of the Classic, 1-0 over Missouri State. |

August 31, 2007 UNLV junior forward Lamar Neagle’s goal midway through the second half helped the Rebels earn a double-overtime tie with Pittsburgh, 1-1, in the season opener for both teams in the 2007 Marriott Kingsgate Xavier Men’s Soccer Challenge on Friday afternoon.

November 5, 2006 Looking for its second straight win after its huge upset of first-place and 20th-ranked Denver on Friday night, UNLV (1-15-2, 1-9) was dealt one final tough loss instead, as Air Force (5-12-1, 4-6) rallied to claim a 2-1 win in overtime on the Rebels’ Senior Day Sunday afternoon from Peter Johann Memorial Field in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s soccer action. It was the season finale for both teams. |
