UNLV Womens Soccer is undefeated after four games |

September 23, 2007 Despite holding Iowa State to just one shot on goal, the UNLV women's soccer team was forced to settle for a 0-0 double-overtime tie on Sunday afternoon in the UNLV Rebel Classic, held at Peter Johann Memorial Field. The tie pushed the Rebels' unbeaten streak to four games, giving them a 4-2-2 mark on the season, while ISU moved to 4-1-2. In the day's other game, Washington State topped Nevada, Reno 1-0. |

UNLV Women's Soccer hands 11th Ranked Washington State its first loss, 1-0 |

September 21, 2007 UNLV controlled the flow of the game the entire afternoon to claim the second win over a ranked team in school history, 1-0 victory over Washington State on Friday from Peter Johann Field. WSU entered the game as one of 19 unbeaten teams in the nation and ranked in three polls, including 11th in Soccer America, but a second half goal gave the host UNLV squad the win in the second game of the UNLV Rebel Classic. In the day’s first game, Iowa State held off Nevada, Reno 2-1. |

UNLV Women's Soccer receives weekly honors |

September 3, 2007 Thanks to its 2-0 start on the season, UNLV swept both Mountain West Conference Women’s Soccer weekly honors, as Katie Carney was named Offensive Player of the Week while Alicia Lugo was named the Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. It is the second weekly honor for Carney in her career, and first-ever for Lugo, and this also marks the fourth time ever that UNLV has won both honors in the same week. |
