Friday, April 24, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--The UNLV Rebels (27-17 overall, 3-6 Mountain West) got some late-inning heroics from Ashli Holland to topple the Colorado State Rams (21-21, 4-4) by a 7-6 margin in Fort Collins, Colo., Friday afternoon. Holland stepped up with the two out and the bases juiced in the seventh and clobbered a grand slam to clinch her third game-winning hit of the season.

Rebels defeat Northern Colorado, 8-1 |

Thursday, April 23, 2009 The UNLV Rebels (26-17) jumped out of conference action for an 8-1 victory over the Northern Colorado Bears (16-27) Thursday afternoon in Greeley, Colo. More importantly, the Rebels snapped its three-game losing skid. The game witnessed UNC jump out to a quick 1-0 lead, but then have its offense shut down by the pitching of Stephanie Bregante (8-4), while the Rebel offense erupted for eight runs.

Sunday, April 12, 2009 The UNLV Rebels (25-14 overall, 2-3 Mountain West) scored early and often in their 12-4, six-inning victory over the Colorado State Rams (18-20, 2-3) on Sunday afternoon at Eller Media Stadium. The Rebels pushed out to a nine-run lead through the first two frames and never looked back. The offense racked up 16 hits with six individuals collecting multiple-hit outings.

Saturday, April 11th, 2009 The UNLV Rebels (24-14 overall, 1-3 Mountain West) lost by a 4-1 margin to the Colorado State Rams (18-19, 2-2) on Saturday night at Eller Media Stadium. The Rams scored twice in both the first and seventh innings, while riding the arm of Danielle Chaplin (5-6). The Rebels could only muster run in the fourth inning. |

Rebels need extras to defeat New Mexico, 8-7 |

Friday, April 10, 2009 The UNLV Rebels (24-13 overall, 1-2 Mountain West) needed extra innings to defeat the New Mexico Lobos (10-26, 1-3) by a 8-7 final Friday night in windy conditions at Eller Media Stadium. More importantly, the win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Rebels and gave the squad its first win in league play. Ashli Holland, who recorded the last game-winning hit for UNLV in a win over Sacramento State on March 21, stepped up with the bases loaded and drilled a line drive through the left side to end the eight-inning affair. |
