Tuesday, May 18, 2010 LAS VEGAS – For the second consecutive year, the UNLV softball program had four of its student-athletes named to the 2010 Mountain West All-Conference Team, as voted on by the league's six head coaches and announced by the MWC today. Marissa Nichols and Ashli Holland are no stranger to the recognition, as they have earned the honor three times apiece, Tara Bendt and Laura Briones, on the other hand, are first-time recipients. |

Tuesday, April 12, 2010 LAS VEGAS--UNLV junior second baseman Ashli Holland has been named the Mountain West Conference's Softball Player of the Week for the second time in her career. Holland, a two-time all-conference performer, has now earned the league's weekly honor for the first time on April 28, 2009. |

Rebels Come Up Roses In Victory |

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Rebels (4-1) defeated the Loyola Marymount Lions (2-3)
Sunday night at Eller Media Stadium in the finale of the Sportco Kick-Off
Classic. The Rebels scored runs in four different innings en route to their
7-3 victory. Alyssia De La Torre highlighted the UNLV offensive with a
two-hit effort that included a three-run home run. The win over LMU is the
second straight in the head-to-head series and it extends UNLV's overall
winning streak to four on the year.

UNLV Softball Joins "Friends of Jaclyn" |

Monday, November 9, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--The UNLV softball program will host its "Family Day" Saturday afternoon (12:00 pm) at Eller Media Stadium. The day will feature an intrasquad scrimmage and the formal adoption of Jenna Jackson by the Rebel softball team through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.

Wednesday, June 26, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--Just one day after having 12 student-athletes named to the Spring 2009 Mountain West Conference All-Academic Team, the UNLV Rebel softball had a program-best eight recognized for the 2008-09 MWC Scholar-Athlete Award. Four of those Rebels (Brittany Bolinger, Jaci Hull, Marissa Nichols and Brittany Meade) are repeat selections, while the other four are first-time honorees.
