Rebels Come Up Roses In Victory |

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Rebels (4-1) defeated the Loyola Marymount Lions (2-3)
Sunday night at Eller Media Stadium in the finale of the Sportco Kick-Off
Classic. The Rebels scored runs in four different innings en route to their
7-3 victory. Alyssia De La Torre highlighted the UNLV offensive with a
two-hit effort that included a three-run home run. The win over LMU is the
second straight in the head-to-head series and it extends UNLV's overall
winning streak to four on the year.

UNLV Softball Joins "Friends of Jaclyn" |

Monday, November 9, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--The UNLV softball program will host its "Family Day" Saturday afternoon (12:00 pm) at Eller Media Stadium. The day will feature an intrasquad scrimmage and the formal adoption of Jenna Jackson by the Rebel softball team through the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.

Wednesday, June 26, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--Just one day after having 12 student-athletes named to the Spring 2009 Mountain West Conference All-Academic Team, the UNLV Rebel softball had a program-best eight recognized for the 2008-09 MWC Scholar-Athlete Award. Four of those Rebels (Brittany Bolinger, Jaci Hull, Marissa Nichols and Brittany Meade) are repeat selections, while the other four are first-time honorees.

Sunday, May 10, 2009 The UNLV Rebels (31-19) learned Sunday evening that they earned an at-large bid into the 2009 NCAA Tournament via ESPNU's softball selection show. The Rebels will travel west to Los Angeles for their Friday afternoon (1:00 pm) contest with the Fresno State Bulldogs at UCLA’s Easton Stadium.

Rebels send seniors out in style with 12-8 win |

Saturday, May 2, 2009 The UNLV Rebels (31-18 overall, 7-7 Mountain West) sent their two seniors off in style with a victory in the team’s final home game of 2009. The Rebels broke open an 8-8 game with four runs in the fifth to take the 12-8 victory over the Utah Utes (20-29, 2-8) Saturday afternoon from Eller Media Stadium. UNLV's offense was paced by a six-RBI effort by Jaci Hull.
