UNLV Volleyball Loses In Three To #8 Florida |

Friday, August 28, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--The UNLV Rebel volleyball team (0-1) suffered a 3-0 (16-25, 23-25, 19-25) setback to the #8 Florida Gators (1-0) Friday evening in the Campus USA Credit Union Invitational in Gainesville, Fla. The Rebels were paced by seven kills apiece by Samantha Noland and Cursty Jackson, while Erin Greenwood led the team with a .455 hitting efficiency.
Coincidentally, the Rebels last defeat came to the hands of the Gators when they played in Las Vegas to end the 2008 regular season.

Wednesday, June 26, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--The UNLV Volleyball program had four student-athletes recognized for their classroom achievement, as the quartet were named to the 2008-09 Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete Team, announced by the league office today. Erin Greenwood, Kelsey Keeler, Tabitha Mabrey and Jessica Walters are no stranger to this honor, as each have earned the honor at least once previously.

Rebels sign Nile Te'o to NLI |

Friday, June 12, 2009 Las Vegas, NV--The UNLV Rebels added one student-athlete to its 2009 lineup with the signing of Nile Te'o to a National Letter of Intent. Te'o will enroll at UNLV in the fall of 2009 and will be eligible to participate with the Rebels this upcoming season announced head coach Allison Keeley.
