Today it was announced that Harrahs and AEG are going to build a 20,000 seat arena behind Bally's. The last couple of Months REI and Mayor Oscar Goodman have been hyping a $9.5 Billion project downtown at Charleston and Main. There have been rumors of Bruckheimer building a stadium and rumors of Reggie Jackson building a stadium. Several other sports themed casinos have been projects that have come and gone. With a company like Harrahs on board with what has been needed in this town for over a decade, mean that it is finally going to happen? If so, will they do the right job? We will get and NBA team or the least rated sports on television (behind the Spelling Bee) NHL?
